A free heart healthy program presenting information on managing blood pressure will be offered at Sarah Bush Lincoln.
The Heart Smart series will begin at 6 pm Tuesday, October 9, in the Lumpkin Family Center for Health Education, Lincoln Room. High blood pressure is the single most prevalent risk factor for heart disease. Learn more about the cost of high blood pressure and what you can do to reduce it.
On November 6, the Heart smart series will focus on getting active and it concludes December 11 with a presentation on reducing blood sugar. Heart health topics have been presented the first Tuesday of each month since January.
