A free heart healthy program presenting information on eating better will be offered at Sarah Bush Lincoln.
The Heart Smart series will present an hour-long session on eating better for heart health at 6 pm Tuesday, June 11, in the Lumpkin Family Center for Health Education, Lincoln Room. Join us to learn how to make informed food choices and discover ways to help improve your heart health and live well.
On July 9, the Heart Smart series will focus managing blood pressure. Future topics, which will be presented on the second Tuesday of every month through December, include obesity and weight loss, controlling cholesterol, reducing blood sugar and getting active. This program is funded in part though a grant by WomenConnected, a giving circle with the SBL Health Foundation.
